"مساهمة أنطاكيّة في الليتورجيّة: عيد قطع هامة القديس يوحنا المعمدان"

12 آذار 2015: برعاية صاحب الغبطة البطريرك يوحنّا العاشر بطريرك أنطاكيا وسائر المشرق الكلي الطوبى، تابع معهد القديس يوحنا الدمشقي اللاهوتي في جامعة البلمند سلسلة المحاضرات الليتورجية لسنة 2015، وكانت المحاضرة الثانية بعنوان "مساهمة أنطاكيّة في الليتورجيّة: عيد قطع هامة القديس يوحنا المعمدان" ألقاها سيادة الاسقف الدكتور قسطنطين كيّال الجزيل الإحترام، رئيس دير مار الياس (شويّا) البطريركي وأستاذ الليتورجيا في المعهد. أقيمت المحاضرة في قاعة المثلّث الرحمات البطريرك إغناطيوس الرابع في المعهد، بحضور عميد المعهد الأب بورفيريوس جرجي والضيوف الكرام وأهل البيت من آباء أجلاّء وأساتذة وطلاّب.

تكلّم سيادة الأسقف قسطنطين حول النبي بوحنا المعمدان والشّهادة، ومساهمة أنطاكية في ترتيب ليتورجيا العيد. أتت هذه المساهمة لتظهر بقوّة أنّ الكنيسة الأنطاكيّة هي كنيسة شهداء للمسيح منذ بداياتها وأنّها كذلك اليوم وستبقى. الشّهادة هي أفضل ما يمكننا أن نقدّم لإلهنا الذي أهرق دمه على الصليب لأجلنا، وبذلك نكون حقيقةً مقتدين به كما طلب منّا وعلّمنا.

تستمر سلسلة المحاضرات الليتورجية لسنة 2015، والمحاضرة الآتية ستقام يوم الخميس في 23 نيسان 2015، وهي بعنوان " استخدام ضمير المتكلم في صيغة الجمع في الأنافورات وفق النمط الأنطاكي"، يلقيها الأب الدكتور خريسوستوموس ناسيس، أستاذ الليتورجيا التطبيقية في جامعة تسالونيكي.

“An Antiochian Contribution to Liturgy: The Beheading of Saint John the Baptist”

March 12, 2015: Under the High Patronage of His Beatitude Patriarch JOHN X, Patriarch of Antioch and All East, the “Antioch and Liturgy” series of lectures continues with a second lecture that took place in the Patriarch IGNATIUS IV Hall at the Saint John of Damascus Institute of Theology at the University of Balamand. The lecturer was His Grace Bishop Dr. CONSTANTINE Kayyal, Abbot of Saint Elias’ Patriarchal Monastery (Chwayya, Lebanon) and Professor of Liturgics at the Institute. The title of his lecture was entitled “An Antiochian Contribution to Liturgy: The Beheading of Saint John the Baptist”. This is the second in a nine-lecture series. Present were Fr. Porphyrios Georgi, Dean of the Institute, along with respected guests and the Institute’s  faculty, staff, and students.

The lecture spoke about the martyrdom of the Forerunner and the role of Antioch in enriching this feast, a fact which points to the Antiochian Church being a Church of martyrs in Christ, since Her beginning, and continues to be so today. Martyrdom is the best offering we can give back to our God, Who shed His blood for us on the Cross. Through this, we would truly be following His example as He taught us to do.

The lecture series continues with a third lecture scheduled on April 23, 2015 on “The Use of First Person Plural in the Anaphorae secundum typum antiochenum. “. It will be presented by Fr. Dr. Chrysostomos Nassis, Professor of Teleturgics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece.
