نهار الإثنين الواقع فيه 5 / 9 / 2016 تم توقيع مذكرة تفاهم بين معهد القدّيس يوحنا الدمشقي في جامعة البلمند، وكليّة العلوم الدينيّة في جامعة القدّيس يوسف، لتأسيس لجنة مشتركة بينهما تتعاون في جمع وترقيم وفهرسة أرشيف الأب الراحل جان كوربون، الذي كان واحدًا من طليعيّي العمل المسكوني في الشرق، وذلك بهدف وضع هذا الأرشيف، الذي يملك كلٌّ منهما قسمًا منه، بين أيدي الباحثين لدراسته وإبراز الدور الفاعل الذي اضطلع به الأب الراحل جان كوربون. وقّع عن معهد القديس يوحنا الدمشقي عميد المعهد، قدس الأب بوفيريوس جورجي، وعن كلية العلوم الدينيّة عميده، قدس الأب ماريك شيشليك اليسوعيّ.

A Memorandum of Understanding between St John of Damascus Institute of Theology in the “University Of Balamand” and the Faculty of Religious Sciences in “Université Saint-Joseph”

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed yesterday between St John of Damascus Institute of Theology in the “University Of Balamand” and the Faculty of Religious Sciences in “Université Saint-Joseph”, aimed to forming a joint committee for the co-operation in gathering, digitalizing and cataloguing the Archive of the leading figure in ecumenical work in the orient, the late Fr John Corbon. Each faculty has a part of the Archive and want to encourage the scholars to make their studies on it, to highlight the active role played by the late Fr John Corbon. Signed the MOU the deans of the two faculties; Rev. Fr Porphyrios Georgi & Rev. Fr. Marek Sheshlik.
