عيّن البطريرك يوحنا العاشر بطريرك أنطاكية وسائر المشرق الأرشمندريت يعقوب خليل عميداً لمعهد القديس يوحنا الدمشقي اللاهوتي في جامعة البلمند وذلك خلفاً للأب بورفيريوس جورجي.

His Beatitude John X, Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, has appointed the Right Reverend  Archimandrite Jack Khalil as Dean of the Saint John of Damascus Institute of Theology at the University of Balamand, in succession to the Very Reverend Father Porphyrios Georgi.
