صاحب الغبطة يلتقي مع عائلة البلمند
دعا صاحب الغبطة البطريرك يوحنا العاشر الكلي الطوبى العاملين في معهد اللاهوت أساتذةً وموظفين إلى مأدبة عشاء في المعهد وذلك عشيّة الجمعة في 29/5/2015. ساد العشاء جوّ من المودّة والمحبّة واللطف النابع من غبطته لجميع الحاضرين في العشاء. وتميّز باللّفتة الأبويّة لغبطته، إذ عمد إلى تفقّد المدعوّين شخصيًّا بالجلوس معهم واحدًا واحدًا والتحدّث إليهم مستمعًا إلى هواجسهم وناقلاً تطلّعاته إليهم.
وأخيرًا، ألقى صاحب الغبطة كلمة رحّب فيها بالجميع، مسترجعًا ذكرياته في معهد القديس يوحنّا الدمشقي ودور المعهد الكبير في كنيسة أنطاكية في تخريج رعاة لها مشهودًا لهم بعملهم الدؤوب وخدمتهم المتفانية.
إذ نشكركم يا صاحب الغبطة على هذا العشاء العائلي، والذي أشعرتمونا فيه بأبوّتكم، نطلب من الله تعالى أن يمدّكم بالعمر المديد والصحّة ويقوّيكم على خدمة رعيّته المباركة.
His Beatitude meets the Balamandian family
His Beatitude Patriarch John X of Antioch and All the East invited the faculty and staff members of the St. John of Damascus Institute of Theology for dinner. The dinner was held on Friday evening, the 29th of May 2015. His Beatitude expressed His deep affection and love to all those present in the dinner, meeting as in a family. In a paternal gesture, His Beatitude visited each table and greeted each person present. He spoke to them and listened to their concerns. His Beatitude conveyed His hopes to all.
At the end, His Beatitude addressed His family. He welcomed them. He recalled his memories at the St. John of Damascus Institute of Theology. He stressed on the great role of the Institute in the Church of Antioch. The Institute has graduated and continues to graduate hard working clerics, who are dedicated to service.
We thank Your Beatitude for this familial dinner. You are the father of this family. We ask God Almighty to grant You many many years. We ask Him to give you good health and much strength to shepherd His blessed flock.
