لقاء مع أسقف الكنيسة الأنطاكية في فنزويلا
اجتمع صاحب السيادة الأسقف إغناطيوس سمعان، أُسقف قيصريّة الجزيل الاحترام، والذي يرعى كنيستنا الأنطاكية في فنزويلا مع طلاب معهد القديس يوحنا الدمشقي اللاهوتي في السادس عشر من شهر أيلول للعام 2016. وقدّم عرضًا تاريخيًّا عن أبرشية المكسيك وفنزويلا وأميركا الوسطى وجزر الكاريبي، موضحًا الازدهار الذي تحقق في هذه الأبرشية مع صاحب السيادة المتروبوليت أنطونيوس شدراوي الجزيل الاحترام. كما تحدّث بشكل عام عن الصعوبات التي تعاني منها أبرشيات الانتشار، وعن العلاقات الطيبة في فنزويلا مع باقي الكنائس المسيحيّة.
A Meeting with the Bishop of Venezuela
On September 16, 2016, His Grace Bishop Ignatius Semaan of Caesarea and auxiliary bishop at the Antiochian Church in Venezuela met with the seminarians at the Saint John of Damascus Institute of Theology. His Grace spoke about the history of the Antiochian Archdiocese of Mexico, Venezuela, Central America and the Islands of the Caribbean Sea. He emphasized on the development and progress of the diocese under the patronage of His Eminence Metropolitan Antonio Chedraoui. Bishop Ignatius discussed the difficulties and challenges facing the Antiochians living abroad. He also spoke about the good relations between the Antiochian Church in Venezuela and the other churches.
