Ordination of Rev. Dr. Jack Khalil to the Holy PriesthoodThe ordination to the Holy Priesthood of Father Jack Khalil took place at the Monastery of Balamand by the laying on of hands of Bishop John Yazigi on Sunday April 17, 2005, in the presence of the faculty, staff, students, parents and friends of Fr. Jack . The ordination was followed by a reception and lunch. Father Jack is an Assistant Professor of New Testament at St. John of Damascus Institute of Theology. He holds a Ph.D. in Biblical Studies from the University of Thessaloniki, Greece and the University of Tingen, Germany. He is also the Library Director at the Institute. |
