A Group of Professors and Students from Boston Theological InstituteVisits the Institute of Theology

A group of fifteen Professors and students from Boston Theological Institute who is an association of nine theological schools in the Greater Boston area paid a special visit to Balamand Monastery and Institute of Theology.
The BTI creates and fosters a milieu for dialogue envisioning an experimentation in theological inquiry and preparation for ministry, and promotes and provides opportunities for faculty curriculum, and program cooperation among the schools and provides resources for the schools that are best made available through cooperation and coordination.
After a tour in the Monastery the group visited the Institute, and was received by the students. The group had a meeting with the Faculty members.
Afterwards, Dr. Rodney L. Petersen, Executive Director of the Boston Theological Institute, gave a lecture on The Evolution of Mediation: From Diplomacy to Forgiveness and Trauma Healing." Also Professor Raymond Helmick, SJ, participated also in the talk. The Institute invited the group to share a meal together in a spirit of fellowship and Christian love.
