أكد بطريرك أنطاكية وسائر المشرق للروم الأرثوذكس يوحنا العاشر على محورية دور معهد القديس يوحنا الدمشقي اللاهوتي-جامعة البلمند في رفد الكنيسة الأنطاكية بالعاملين في المجال الكنسي وبالرعاة. كلام غبطته جاء في لقائه أساتذة المعهد مساء اليوم. وكان اللقاء مناسبةً لطرح قضايا الساعة ومناقشة بعض الأمور التي تخص الحياة التعليمية والداخلية.

His Beatitude John X, Greek Orthodox Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, emphasized the central role of the St. John of Damascus Institute of Theology at the University of Balamand in providing the Antiochian Church with workers and shepherds for service in the ecclesiastical field. His Beatitude’s remarks came during his meeting with the Institute’s faculty members this evening. The meeting was an opportunity to address current issues and discuss matters related to educational and internal affairs.
