July 13-20, 2002
Upon the invitation of His Eminence Metropolitan-Archbishop PHILIP Saliba, the Dean Bishop John Yazigi visited the Archdiocese of North America in order to deliver the degrees of the MA in Applied Orthodox Theology program. This program is operated by the Antiochian House of Studies and the graduates of this MA receive their degrees from the St. John of Damascus Institute of Theology, University of Balamand. The ceremony coincided with the clergy Symposium of the Archdiocese of North America at the Antiochian Village. His Grace visited the Heritage Center and its facilities in addition to the amazing Camp of the Antiochian Village and the Campers and counsellors. On Sunday July 14, His Grace celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Parish of St. George in Little Falls, NJ, whose pastor is Fr. Elias Bitar. His Grace thanked His Eminence for his warm welcome and gracious hospitality.
