Balamand Professor Lectures in Argentine
د. عيوش يلقي إحدى المحاضرات في الأرجنتين Dr. Ayuch in one of the Lectures
In the context of Cultural Exchange with the Spanish speaking world, Professor Daniel Ayuch, Professor of Old and New Testament at St. John of Damascus Institute of Theology, University of Balamand, gave a series of lectures on the Apocalyptic Literature in Scripture at the Catholic University of the Holy Spirit in Argentine. He also presented two lectures to a general audience, and another to the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Parish in San Diego. This move by the University of Balamand to reach out to the Argentinean from Arab Descent was greatly appreciated by the Lebanese and Syrian communities.

اللاهوت البلمنديّ في الأرجنتين
في إطار برنامج التبادل الثقافي مع العالم الاسبانوفونيّ (PASE) الذي أُسس هذه السنة في جامعة البلمند، قام د. دانيال عيوش، أستاذ الكتاب المقدس في معهد القدّيس يوحنّا الدمشقيّ اللاهوتيّ، بزيارة رسميّة إلى الجامعة الكاثوليكيّة في سنتياغو دل استيرو (UCSE) حيث قدم سلسلة محاضرات مكثّفة حول "الأدب الرؤيويّ في الأسفار المقدسة" لطلاب اللاهوت في تلك الجامعة بين 23 آب و4 أيلول 2004. خلال هذه الزيارة ألقى الدكتور عيوش محاضرتين عامّتين حول "الكتاب المقدس وإرثه الثقافيّ الشرقيّ" و"العمل الاجتماعيّ وعلاقته بالخلاص". كما ألقى محاضرة للرعيّة الأرثوذكسيّة الأنطاكيّة في سانتياغو بعنوان "مريم العذراء: قدوة المسيحيّين". وفي كل مناسبة تعرّف الحضور على معالم لبنان وعلى ميزات جامعة البلمند من خلال منشورات وأفلام وثائقيّة. رحبت الجالية اللبنانيّة السوريّة في الأرجنتين، ولاسيّما رعايا الكنيسة الأرثوذكسية الأنطاكية، بمبادرة جامعة البلمند إلى مدّ جسور بين النشاط الفكريّ في الشرق وأبناء المغتربين هناك.

La Teolog del Balamand en Argentina
Entre el 23 de Agosto y el 04 de Septiembre del 2004 efectu el Dr. Daniel Ayuch, profesor de Sagradas Escrituras en el Instituto de Teolog San Juan Damasceno, una visita oficial a la Universidad Catica de Santiago del Estero (UCSE) como parte del Programa de Intercambio Cultural con el Mundo de Habla Castellana que fue fundado recientemente en la Universidad del Balamand. All el Dr. Ayuch ofreci un curso intensivo sobre la literatura apocaltica blica a los estudiantes de teolog de esa universidad. Adem dio dos disertaciones sobre la Biblia como legado cultural de Medio Oriente y La acci social como expresi de una visi escatolica en dicha casa de estudios. Por otra parte, disert sobre La virgen Maria como modelo del compromiso cristiano en la Parroquia Ortodoxa Antioquena de Santiago. En cada uno de estos actos se ofreci al plico presente diferentes folletos sobre el Balamand y sobre el Lano, a la vez que se presentaron videos documentales al. respecto. La colectividad sirio-libanesa y muy particularmente las comunidades de la Iglesia Ortodoxa en Argentina acogieron con entusiasmo esta iniciativa de la Universidad del Balamand por mantener lazos de uni entre la actividad intelectual en Oriente y los hijos de la comunidad abe en Argentina.
