معهد اللاهوت يقيم ندوة العائلة في الكتاب المقدس
بعد ظُهر الخميس 9-3-2016، استقبل معهد القديس يوحنا الدمشقي اللاهوتي ندوةً بعنوان "العائلة في الكتاب المقدس"، وذلك ضمن إطار أعمال الأيام البيبلية العاشرة. عُقِدت الندوة في قاعة البطريرك إغناطيوس الرابع في المعهد، وكانت البداية بكلمة عميد المعهد، قدس المتقدم في الكهنة الأب بورفيريوس جرجي، والذي رحَّب بالآباء الأجلاء، والإخوة من الرابطة الكتابية، والأساتذة، والحضور، وتحدث عن أهمية هذه الندوة في زمن باتت فيه الأسرة مهددة بالتفكك والضياع.
قدَّمَ الندوةَ قدسُ الأرشمندريت يعقوب خليل، رئيس دير سيدة البلمند البطريركي، وعرَّفَ في حديثه عن الأيام البيبلية، وتوزُّعِ محاضراتِها لهذا العام على الكليات اللاهوتية، ليكون الحديث بعدها للأب أيوب شهوان، أستاذ الكتاب المقدس في جامعة الروح القدس، المنسق السابق للرابطة الكتابية في الشرق الأوسط. تحدث الأب شهوان عن "تأثير المنهجية السردية على التربية في العائلة: نقل الكتاب المقدس"، مُشدِّداً على أهمية الإخبار بتعليم الكتاب المقدس ضِمن العائلة. تحدَّث بعدها الدكتور دانيال عيوش، أستاذ العهد الجديد في معهد القديس يوحنا الدمشقي اللاهوتي، حول "الأسس البيبلية للعائلة حسب إنجيل متى (19: 11-15)" حيث ركَّزَ على أن الرجل والمرأة خُلِقا ليُشكِّلا العائلة. ليكون الحديث بعدهما للأب ميشال صقر، أستاذ العهد الجديد في معهد البابا يوحنا بولس الثاني في جامعة الحِكمة، وكان حديثه بعنوان "هل تبقى العائلة بعد الموت؟"، حيث اعتبر أن الزواج وما ينتج عنه يخص الدهر الحاضر.
تكللتِ الندوة بمجموعة من الأسئلة والمناقشات، لينتقل الجميعُ بعدها للمشاركة في صلاة الغروب في دير سيدة البلمند البطريركي.
A Seminar on Family in the Holy Bible
On Thursday afternoon March 9, 2016 the Saint John of Damascus Institute of Theology hosted a seminar titled “Family in the Holy Bible”. The seminar is a part of the tenth acts of the Biblical Days. It was held in Patriarch Ignatius IV Hall at the Institute. Archpriest Porphyrios Georgy, Dean of the Saint John of Damascus Institute of Theology, welcomed the participants, the members of the Biblical Federation in the Middle East, and the faculty members. Father Porphyrios discussed the importance of this session in a time where disintegration and loss threatens the family.
Archimandrite Jack Khalil, Abbot of our Lady of Balamand Patriarchal Monastery, introduced the Biblical Days and its affiliated theological institutes. Father Ayoub Chehwan, professor of biblical exegesis at the Université Saint Esprit and the former coordinator of the Biblical Federation in the Middle East, gave a lecture titled: “The influence of systematic narratives on the upbringing of children in the family.” Father Shehwan stressed on the importance of teaching the morals of the Holy Bible in the family. Then Dr. Daniel Ayuch, professor of New Testament at the Saint John of Damascus Institute of Theology spoke about “The Biblical foundations of the family according to the Gospel of Matthew (19:11-15).” Dr. Ayuch gave a detailed exegesis of the aforementioned periscope. In the end Father Michel Sakr, professor of New Testament at the Pope John Paul II Institute of Theology, La Sagesse University, presented a lecture titled: “Does the family remain after death?” Father Sakr reflected that marriage and its outcomes, according to the Catholic Church, belong to the present age.
After the seminar, the participants celebrated the Vespers at the Patriarchal Monastery of Our Lady of Balamand.
